I get it, there are times when all of us feel like we are facing impossible odds and are stuck. Most times the answer is inside of us, but we just need help asking the right question to see that answer. I have been there myself. I know how important working with coaches have been for my growth.

It helps you reset your mindset and explore what you don’t know you don’t know. It helps unlock possibilities that exist inside of you. It give you a new perspective. And it gives you someone to help focus on a possibility to help you move forward.

My Story

After growing up in a family business, I spent over 25 years in corporate finance and accounting. I moved quickly from accountant to controller to C-Suite positions.

I have spent my career in family owned businesses of all sizes. Early in my career I joined a family-owned company to lead the accounting and finance team. During my time there, the company grew from $25 million to over $900 million in revenue.

I thought that I would finish my career in finance. My husband and I had our map planned out and we were both focused on pursuing that path. When my husband faced a health challenge, the map that we had planned out changed. I realized how important it was to inspire others, to challenge their comfort zones, and to explore new possibilities to beat the odds. As a result, I found the importance of challenging ourselves and others and collaborating as a team to overcome obstacles that came our way. After beating the odds, we realigned our path and discovered new opportunities.

I did not realize what I had learned from this experience would ultimately change my path one day. When I was faced with the loss of my husband several years later, I set out on a personal development journey to challenge myself to explore programs and groups that would help me shift my mindset. This exploration led me to coaching and I realized that I was inspired combine my CFO experience with coaching to help passion driven leaders, entrepreneurs, and change makers beat the odds in business and life.

WHO AM I

I am a Pioneer:  I strategize on ways to move forward by asking what’s new and what do we not know, in order to explore the unknown unknowns to create innovative solutions. 

I am a Connector:  I see the world as an integrated web of relationships that can be connected by communicating possibilities by bringing people together to collaborate.  I find connections between facts, data, events, and/or people which seem unrelated, but are actually connected in a way that makes the ‘whole’ clearer.

I am a Catalyst:  I challenge the status quo by inspiring optimism and bringing a positive outlook in order to bring people together to discover new and exciting possibilities.  I seek to create strong relationships and create a culture of trust by respecting and valuing contributions and gifts of all team members (internal and external).

WHAT I BELIEVE

I believe all of us have the power to dream big, follow our passion, and beat the odds both in our businesses and our lives. I believe there is always a way to move forward when faced with any challenge or problem.  It is not always easy to follow your passion, but I believe everyone has a passion inside of them they strive to move toward.
